As part of the newly developed Albert Pier Pontoon, The Beach were appointed to imagine and create a statement sign that served both as sense of place in an open, expansive, visual landscape and provided visitors with clear directional information including walking distances to places of importance. The solution is sculptural, with elegant detailing and finishing taking cues from the recent St Helier street signage project to keep a strong degree of consistency across the capital.

The Beach secured a contract with the Economic Development Department to provide brand development, design and marketing services for Locate Jersey, promoting the island as a destination for business and high-value residency. Through Qualitative Research, a three-stage programme of insight and implementation was established, with extensive individual interviews, focus groups and co-creation sessions taking place with High Net Worths, exploring target audiences’ experiences with Jersey and what compelled them to make the move to the island. At each stage the ‘Jersey proposition’ was refined to the target audience. Outputs include an approved Locate Jersey proposition, business literature and business tools aimed at stimulating new diversified inward investment opportunities, and separate High Value Residency and Inward Investment Business brochures aimed at attracting economically active individuals. The brand development process has enabled Locate Jersey to adopt a market-orientated approach, facilitating clearer focus on the client and their needs whilst also providing the Locate Jersey team with wider stakeholder buy-in through a clearer understanding in government of the value of investing in well-defined and clearly articulated brands.

The Beach were appointed as consultants to work alongside the Senior Management Team to reposition the organisation both domestically and internationally. A multi-brand structure was developed to sit under the Ports of Jersey governing umbrella brand. The refined solution was designed for maximum resonance and clarity with the target audiences, and was applied across over 150 internal and external communication touchpoints from directional signage at the airport and harbour to the tug, the Duke of Normandy; Group-wide business cards to a launch newspaper, and pretty much everything inbetween.

This Notice aims to give you information on how The Beach Limited collects and processes personal data of all persons with whom we interact, including clients and their employees (together, “you”), as well as prospective employees. For clients, intermediaries or prospects, the categories of Personal Data that we process is limited to their name, place of work, professional email address and professional contact number. The purpose for which we may process your Personal Data are for the legitimate interest for the provision of the services of The Beach Limited, or for the legitimate interest for the offering of the services of The Beach's to prospective professional individuals and the organisations that they represent.

For prospective employees, Personal Data collected is limited to information freely provided by the candidate and is deleted immediately once it no longer serves a legitimate business interest.
